Our message this year is the same as in the past.........PREPARE EMDG CLAIMS EARLY! In previous years Austrade's turnaround of claims lodged in July has been exceptional, many assessed and paid within two weeks of receipt. It is in claimants best interests to ensure their claims are lodged early, ideally in July, although August and September are acceptable, to ensure a prompt review and early receipt of the grant cheque! Later lodged claims have and will continue to take several months to be accessed and paid, many taking up to six months after lodgement.
