Austrade Report Card on Austgrant |
We are very proud to advise that Austrade judge us as doing a 'good job' for our clients. Our 'report card' is now in on our performance for the 2006-07 EMDG claims. As a member of the Export Consultants Group (ECG), we are committed to abide by the Code of Practice Administration Committee (COPAC) Code of Practice administered by both the ECG & Austrade. Austrade's advice dated 15 August '08 (click here for page one) shows that our performance exceeds the COPAC targets, by a significant margin. A major Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is 'Slippage'. This is the difference between the claim value we calculate to what Austrade approve. The 0.6% is significantly less than the COPAC target of <12.5%. In dollar terms this is just $600 per $100,000 grants claimed. Similarly, 100% of all our claims were processed within the COPAC turnaround times, and no claims were assessed as being unsuccessful. During the claim preparation process clients sometimes feel that we take a hard line with expenses that they believe are claimable. We do this because we uphold our high standards and it is in our mutual interests to ensure claims lodged include only the most accurate claimed costs. Costs which cannot be 100% determined as being eligible, even after speaking to Austrade, may be included and 'flagged' for special assessment by Austrade. |
